Little House on the Prairie follows author Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family as they move to the Kansas prairie. Family is the predominant theme of both this book and all others in the Little.   When I opened the box that contained my review copies of Linda Sue Park’s Prairie Lotus (Clarion, March 3), my feelings were complicated. On the one hand: a new Linda Sue Park! On the other hand: a book that explicitly revisits Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie series. Haven’t we been trying to move beyond them?

Laura Ingalls Wilder's name is set to be removed from a major children's book award after concerns were raised about the "Little House on the Prairie" author's depiction of certain races in the Author: Nicole Darrah.

Ups. When looking for runners, we did see some runners up stairs like you discribed. A first edition copy of The Little House, the Caldecott Medal winning book, is coming up for auction on J at PBA Galleries.

The first edition The Little House is very difficult to find, and some have estimated the book will sell for close to $10,The Children's Picturebook Price Guide estimates The Little House to be valued at $5, in Very Good condition.

For the thousands of devoted fans of the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder (who was born on February 7, ), that problem is particularly acute.
